The Functional Movement Screen is a quick and simple way for me to asses how well you move. This will also help me to see areas that are strong as well as those that need improvement. This 10 minute screen will highlight dysfunctional basic movement patterns as well as asymmetries or differences right to left. Ensuring that you move well and are also symmetrical, left to right, will help reduce your risk of injury, both in the gym setting, but more importantly, out of it. It will also help you get more out of each workout. I love spending this time with my clients and feel that it is very important for three reasons;
First, it gives me more information to use when designing your session, private or group, this lets me add a personal touch to each class;
Second, it gives me an opportunity to speak a little to technique and form and gives us a little one on one time;
Third, this is a great time for us to get to know one another, you can ask any questions you may have or we can address any concerns you might have outside of the group setting.
I don’t know of any other group fitness class that offers this level of individual service and at no extra charge no less!
